Position Description:

On.Energy is seeking a System Engineer to support specific BESS projects in North America at our US Headquarters office in Miami, FL.  The System Engineer is responsible for the overall engineering and procurement for assigned BESS projects from proposal stage through project completion.  The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills with proven analytical and problem solving experience; good business acumen and  negotiator; has excellent written and verbal communication skills; has a bias for action, is collaborative, and works well in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

·  Overall responsibilities for the design/engineering of BESS for assigned projects

·  Overall lead for procurement activities for BESS for assigned projects

·  Provide engineering support commissioning of BESS for assigned projects
Provide engineering support for O&M of BESS for assigned projects

·  Search, identify, and evaluate of new technologies, products and suppliers

·  Produce required specification documents, drawings as directed

·  Conduct analysis, calculations, and technical review as required

·  Participate in vendor surveillance and factory acceptance tests (FAT) as required

·  Analyze reports and data from any required factory acceptance or field performance tests

·  Develop strong relationships with existing suppliers and develop new suppliers

·  Lead the overall negotiation and contracting of supplier agreements/purchase orders for assigned supply

·  Review and process all supplier invoices

·  Coordinate supplier logistics

·  Track supplier status and develop supplier procurement status reports

·  Track and coordinate the corrective action for supplier non conformances

Position Requirements:

·  BS Electrical Engineering from an accredited University

·  Minimum 2-years engineering experience in energy storage

·  Fluent in english preferred.  Bilinqual English/Spanish desireable

·  Can-do attitude

·  Strong communication skills

·  Strong attention to detail and follow through

·  On-site in the Corporate headquarters in Miami, FL is preferred.  Remote work shall be considered

·  Ability to travel extensively to project sites, customer offices, Corporate headquarters, or vendor/contractor office locations

·  Proficient with all MS Office products

·  Professional demeaner and the ability to work in a team and collaborative environment
